SALES REPRESENTATIVE: NW INDIANA
Summary of Position:Â Identify customers and execute new and used retail whole good sales for the Company, including but not limited to tractors, combines, headers, planters, tillage tools, sprayers, hay tools, skid steers, telehandlers and lawn & garden equipment.
Key Result Areas:Â The Duties and Responsibilities of a Salesperson include:
- Identify new retail sales prospects and work to close new and used retail equipment sales.
- Build strong relationships with Company customers, providing meaningful sales support to help customer meet their equipment needs. This includes traveling to customers farms for visitations.
- Prepare and execute all sale documentation, including any potential financing documentation.
- Appraise and price used trade-ins for trade deals.
- Manage whole good inventory and work with the sales group to keep inventory at acceptable levels.
- Communicate and improve efficiency between the other product groups within the Company.
- Perform all tasks necessary to achieve 5-star status under AGCO’s Dealer Excellence Program, including setting aside adequate time to perform any product and sales training as determined by the Sales Manager.
- Any other responsibilities and duties as outlined by the Sales Manager. This position reports to the Sales Manager.

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent in direct industry experience
- Dedicated self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive position productivity without the need for direct, constant supervision.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to facilitate coordination among multiple parties oftentimes under specific timeframes and deadlines.
- Shared understanding and importance of upholding the principal Core Values of our Company.
- A fundamental ability to listen and develop practical retail sale solutions.
